Rainy Night in the Old Quarter

- This painting is heavily inspired by John Atkinson Grimshaw's paintings. I tried to apply his technique to a motive of a street in Aachen, Germany (parts of the right side of the image), but the left side developed its own life and now consists of parts of Bruges (canal and the houses on the left), Vienna (Votive church in the background) and imagination.
-Edit: I tried to change the perspective a little bit, by pulling down the buildings on the other side of the canal and some smaller other changes.
