Oil on canvas, 90x70cm. Hommage to Albert Bierstadt's painting "Puget Sound on the Pacific Coast" (1870). I really admire the colors he chose und the illuminated mountains, but I wanted a calmer scene with more focus on the mountains. After several changes and an excursion to Frederic Church inspired icebergs, which were completly ready (that's why there is the glacier), I ended up with this scene.
